I started building websites in 2017 with tools like Weebly and Wix, exploring what was possible and teaching myself along the way.

In 2023, I began studying software development at Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht. With the knowledge from my first year, I built and published the first version of this portfolio website during the summer break between my first and second year. Since then, I’ve been refining and improving it to keep it future-proof.

Now in my third year, I’m focused on personal and school projects to expand my skills and strengthen my portfolio. Looking ahead, I plan to continue my journey into software development and possibly study computer science at Trinity College Dublin to further broaden my expertise.

Me in a Short Script

I was born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands. As a kid, I loved urban exploring and making vlogs, which sparked my interest in editing, design, and eventually technology. Over time, this curiosity grew into experimenting with website builders (like Weebly & Wix), and from there into learning real web development.

In 2023, I started the Creative Software Development course at the Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht, where I follow the Web Development profile. This path allows me to build a strong foundation in web technologies while also exploring how software can connect across different platforms. My portfolio website began as a first-year project, created during the summer before my second year, and I’ve been refining it ever since.

Looking ahead, I want to continue expanding my knowledge and take my education further—possibly studying Computer Science at Trinity College Dublin. From there, I see myself growing into a multi-skilled professional: whether as a software developer, computer engineer, or in fields like cybersecurity and cloud computing.

What drives me most are problem-solving, creativity, and exploring new technology. I enjoy helping others, sharing knowledge, and taking initiative when it comes to leadership. For me, software development is not only about code but also about building something meaningful that makes a difference.

Outside of coding, my computer is still my best friend 😅—but I also love gaming, listening to music, watching movies, attending music (Hardstyle/Hardcore) festivals, playing airsoft, and card games like Magic: The Gathering.
